By Roll · Chief of Staff · 19 October 2026

Holders gain clearer visibility into SPL token transfers through the updated desktop application. The release supplies recipient information directly on the hardware screen and organizes stablecoin balances in the Pay section.

Holders of Solana-based tokens receive more precise details when moving assets through the Ledger Wallet desktop application. The update supplies the recipient name on the hardware screen and organizes balance filters by stablecoin type.

Transfer Information Provided

Ledger Wallet 4.24.0, a Solana-capable desktop wallet app, was released on Oct. 14, 2026. For an SPL token transfer on Solana, the hardware wallet screen now names the destination. The transfer estimate carries the recipient token account, the wallet address and the input type of the SPL transfer.

If the recipient token account holds a different token, the app stops the transfer with an error. This step prevents mismatched movements before confirmation occurs. The app’s confirmation screen now matches every row the device itself shows.

Balance Organization in Pay

The Pay tab shows each stablecoin as its own balance filter option. Users can isolate specific holdings without scanning the full list. This structure supports direct selection during payment flows.

Release Documentation

Per the GitHub release page, the 4.24.0 desktop notes are posted on GitHub with the release. The Ledger Wallet desktop app is developed by Ledger. These changes focus on the information presented during SPL token activity and balance viewing.

The update addresses how destination details appear on the device and how filters separate holdings in the Pay tab. Each element follows directly from the release notes dated Oct. 14, 2026. Holders see the same rows on the confirmation screen that appear on the hardware device.

Practical Outcome for Transfers

The destination name appears on the hardware screen for SPL token transfers. Details include the recipient token account and wallet address along with the input type. An error occurs when a mismatch is detected in the token held by the account.

This arrangement keeps the displayed information consistent between the app screen and the device. The stablecoin filters in the Pay tab allow selection of individual balances as separate options. Both features were included in the Oct. 14, 2026 release.

The notes confirm that the confirmation screen aligns with device rows. Users encounter the named destination before completing the transfer. The filter options appear in the Pay tab for balance organization.

These adjustments supply the listed recipient data and balance groupings without additional interpretation. The GitHub page serves as the source for the exact changes released on that date.
